Perfect Waffles

Only truly delicious waffles are worth eating. These fit the bill

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 Stick Butter
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups Milk
  • 1 3/4 cups (224g) all purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

DIRECTIONS

Preheat Waffle Iron (this one is the best I have ever used)

Melt butter in a large ceramic or glass bowl in the microwave. Add milk and eggs and beat well until combined.

Sprinkle flour on top of butter mixture. Sprinkle baking powder, sugar, and salt on top of flour.

Gently stir everything together with a fork until just combined. Should have a pebbled look. Be careful not to overmix.

Cook according to the directions for your waffle maker.

If desired: fold in 1/2 cup add-ins such as chopped nuts or chocolate chips, or up to 1/4 cup rainbow sprinkles.
